Welcome to Peckham Skip Hire. By hiring our skip services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. Booking and Payment

All bookings must be made in advance through our online booking system or by contacting our customer service team. A deposit may be required to confirm your booking. Full payment is due upon delivery of the skip, unless prior arrangements have been made.

Accepted Payment Methods: Credit/Debit Cards, Bank Transfers, PayPal.
Payment Terms: Payment is expected within 7 days of invoice date.

2. Delivery and Collection

Our team will deliver the skip to the specified location on the agreed date and time. Please ensure that access is clear for delivery and collection. Any delays or changes must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance.

Delivery Address: Ensure the address provided is accurate and accessible.
Collection: The skip will be collected on the agreed date unless an extension is arranged.

Access Requirements

The delivery site must have sufficient space for the skip and access for our vehicle. We are not responsible for any damage caused by inadequate access.

3. Use of Skip

You agree to use the skip solely for the disposal of waste materials. Overloading or misuse of the skip can result in additional charges or termination of service.

Weight Limit: Each skip has a maximum weight capacity. Exceeding this limit may incur extra fees.
Prohibited Items: As outlined below.

4. Prohibited Items

For safety and compliance reasons, the following items are strictly prohibited from being disposed of in our skips:

Chemical waste (paints, solvents, pesticides)
Hazardous materials (asbestos, batteries)
Electrical appliances (refrigerators, TVs)
Flammable substances (fuels, lighters)
Medicines and pharmaceuticals

Disposing of prohibited items may result in legal action and additional charges.

5. Liability

Peckham Skip Hire is not liable for any damage to property or injury that occurs as a result of the delivery, placement, or use of the skip, except in cases of negligence on our part.

Insurance: It is recommended that you have appropriate insurance coverage for any potential damage.
Third-Party Damage: We are not responsible for any damages caused by third parties.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery may incur a cancellation fee.

Refund Policy: Refunds are processed within 14 days of cancellation, excluding any non-refundable deposit.
Rescheduling: We will accommodate rescheduling requests based on availability.

7. Insurance

While we carry insurance for our services, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have adequate insurance coverage for your property and any potential liabilities.

Customer Insurance: Verify that your insurance policy covers skip hire and waste disposal activities.
Liability Waiver: By using our services, you agree to waive liability for any indirect or consequential damages.
